NYCEDC manages several food markets in New York City: Essex St., La Marqueta, Arthur Ave., and Moore St. We conceived an umbrella branding effort, logo, tagline, and web page for the NYCMarkets. We set up an NYCMarkets Facebook page and sent HTML blasts about market events, leasing opportunities, and also developed a website for the Essex St. Market. We teamed up with Yelp to host a Yelp Elite Event at the Essex St. Market inviting their Elite foodies for a tour and tasting. Through their social media, we crowd-sourced excellent reviews, real-time tweets, and rich media. Those assets appeared on the Yelp site, Essex site, our Facebook and Twitter pages, and drove traffic to the market: Yelp Blog, Talk Thread, Reviews of the Event, Video, and Pictures.
